Integrating Business Central with Microsoft Dataverse
Business apps often use data from more than one source. Microsoft Dataverse (formerly known as Common Data Service) combines data into a single set of logic. Connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to Microsoft Dataverse is a great way to lay the groundwork for sharing data with other Dynamics 365 applications, such as Dynamics 365 Sales or with a business app that you built yourself.
The following steps provide an overview of the steps to integrate Dataverse with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Assign licenses for Dataverse to the Business Central users who will use the integrated apps.
- Set up a connection to Dataverse
- Synchronise data between the apps.
